It’s the holiday season, and for many, that means lots of traveling (and hauling luggage and gifts)! If you’re traveling over the next couple of months, we’re here to help by giving you some packing tips for those holiday road trips.
Heavy Items On the Bottom
If you’re hauling a lot of gifts and suitcases, you’ll probably need to stack your cargo. To keep precious gifts safe, be sure to stack the heaviest items on the bottom so that they don’t compress lighter items if put on top.
Don’t Block Rear Windows
While you might need to squeeze a lot in your car, it’s important not to block your sightlines. Make sure you leave enough room on top of your stacked cargo to see through the back window, as well as through rear passenger windows.
Roof Storage Unit
Many Mitsubishi vehicles come equipped with bike rails to help you haul gear. There are also available Mitsubishi accessories, like roof storage units, that help you secure cargo to your roof and, in turn, save space inside your vehicle.
Make Room for Safety
Always make sure you leave enough space when packing gear for an emergency kit. Don’t forgo safety simply to fit presents. An emergency kit should include first-aid supplies, a flashlight, jumper cables, and a fire extinguisher.
